The Belt and Road Preschool Vocational Education Alliance was established by Xianyang Vocational Technical College on May 18, 2021, and AVEA was a membership organization. It aims to urge the development of preschool industry in countries along “Belt and Road” Routes as well as talent exchange and cooperation in such area, to share high-quality resources in members on related colleges, industries, enterprises, and finally achieves the three goals of “openness and development, resources sharing, mutual learning and mutual benefit”. As the main founder, to meet the requirement of preschool education development, Xianyang Vocational Technical College has cooperated with members and continuously organized series of activities.

On 17 August, 2022, to implement “Belt and Road” Initiative spirit and strategy, and take Silk Road Education Cooperation Expo in Shannxi as an opportunity, Early Childhood Care Development Forum was held online, hosted by Xianyang Vocational Technical College and organized by Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, attracting about 260 participants from member organizations and industries. With the theme of mutual learning and sharing, three experts were invited to address a lecture online to promote the communication and sharing of early childhood education between China and other countries. AVEA, as a member organization, joined and supported the forum actively.

Dr. Guan Hongyan and Professor Liu Xiangying focused on “Strategies and Thoughts on Toddler Care Support under New Birth Policy” and “International Development on Early Childhood Care and Education”, while Australian expert Dr. Julie Godwin emphasized “Early Childhood Teaching Philosophies and Methodologies”. The lectures of three outstanding experts keep up with the development of the industry and are beneficial for participants to update their concept and knowledge.

Early Childhood Care Development Forum ended successfully! As a member organization, AVEA will make use of its own advantages and resources to support and help The Belt and Road Preschool Vocational Education Alliance to develop and build educational preschool platform, share high-quality resources with members, communicate and cooperate mutually, and eventually enhance the development of preschool education in countries along “Belt and Road” Routes.
